Housing in Neverness to Everness goes beyond decoration. Properties generate passive income, Anomaly Furniture provides gameplay bonuses, and the cohabitation system lets you build relationships with your favorite characters.

Cohabitation: Living with Characters
The cohabitation system lets you invite characters from your roster to live in your property. Cohabiting characters appear in your home as NPCs, interact with furniture, and develop their bond with you over time.
How to Invite Characters
- 1 Reach Bond Level 3 with the character you want to invite
- 2 Visit your property and interact with the "Invite" option
- 3 Select the character from your roster (must have available cohabitation slot)
- 4 The character moves in and begins generating bond and income
Cohabitation Benefits
✓ Characters in your home generate passive income based on their bond level
✓ Higher bond levels unlock unique dialogue and cutscenes
✓ Cohabiting characters provide small combat buffs when in your active party
✓ Each character has unique furniture preferences — match them for faster bond growth
✓ Max cohabitation slots increase with property upgrades
