Welcome to Neverness to Everness! This guide covers everything a new player needs to know, from account creation to building a strong daily routine. Follow these steps and you will be ahead of 90% of players from day one.

What is Neverness to Everness?

Neverness to Everness (NTE) is a free-to-play open-world urban fantasy action RPG developed by Hotta Studio and published by Perfect World Games. Built on Unreal Engine 5, it delivers a supernatural modern city experience with real-time combat, deep character collection, and a rich urban life simulation.

Set in the sprawling metropolis of Hether City, players take on the role of an appraiser at the Eibon Antique Shop, investigating supernatural anomalies, recruiting powerful Espers, and uncovering the mysteries behind the rifts that threaten the city.

Key Features

  • Open-world supernatural city with seamless exploration
  • Real-time action combat with 6 Esper Types and 6 Arc Types
  • Scarborough Fair gacha system for collecting characters and weapons
  • Deep urban life: housing, vehicles, mahjong, fishing, shops, and more
  • Full cross-platform support with 6 platforms
  • Free-to-play friendly with generous free currency rewards

Creating Your Account

Before You Start

  • 1. Download NTE from your preferred platform
  • 2. Check if your device meets the system requirements
  • 3. Choose your server region (Asia, Americas, Europe, or SEA)
  • 4. Link your account to an email or social media for cross-save

Server Tips

  • Pick the server closest to your region for best latency
  • Characters and progress do not transfer between servers
  • Co-op play works across servers within the same region
  • You can create characters on multiple servers

Your First Esper

Early in the story you receive your first S-Rank Esper for free. The tutorial also gives you enough currency for several pulls on the beginner banner, which has a discounted rate and guaranteed S-Rank within 50 pulls.

Tips for Your First Pulls

  • 1. Use the beginner/standard banner first — it has a lower pity threshold
  • 2. Save Solid Dice for limited banners featuring rate-up S-Rank characters
  • 3. Do not spread resources thin — focus on building 4-6 characters first
  • 4. Check the tier list to understand which characters to prioritize
  • 5. Read the gacha guide before spending any premium currency
