NTE Gacha Guide — Scarborough Fair Explained

Scarborough Fair is Neverness to Everness's unique board-game-style gacha system. Instead of simply pressing a "pull" button, you roll dice, move across a board, and collect rewards along the way — including characters, weapons, and bonus items.

How the Board Game Works

Dice Rolling

Each pull translates to a dice roll. You move forward on a board with various tiles — some give materials, others give character/weapon drops. The S-Rank character drop is positioned at specific tiles on the board.

Board Completion

Completing a full loop of the board awards bonus loot. Limited banners feature boards tailored to the rate-up character, with guaranteed S-Rank at the pity threshold regardless of board position.

Pulls for direct exchange

Soft Pity: Starting around pull 75, the S-Rank rate increases significantly. Most players receive their S-Rank between 75-85 pulls.

Hard Pity at 90: If you reach 90 pulls without an S-Rank, you are guaranteed one. On limited banners, there is a 50% chance it is the featured character.

Guarantee at 120: If you did not get the featured character from the 50/50, you can directly exchange for them at 120 pulls. This is a separate system from the standard pity.

Pity Carries Over: Your pity count transfers between limited banners of the same type. Pulling an S-Rank resets the counter.

Tips for Free-to-Play Players

Save for Limited Banners

Standard banner fills naturally over time. Spend Solid Dice only on limited banners with characters you want.

Never Convert to Fabricated Dice

Fabricated Dice come freely from login rewards and achievements. Converting premium Annulith to them is a waste.

Plan Around the 50/50 System

If you lose the 50/50 on a limited banner, your next S-Rank is guaranteed to be the featured character. Budget for 180 pulls as worst case.

Use the Direct Exchange at 120

If you reach 120 pulls on a limited banner without getting the featured character, you can directly exchange for them. This is your safety net.

Do Not Pull Weapons Early

Weapon banner is a luxury. Focus on characters first — a strong roster is more valuable than signature weapons for new accounts.

Track Your Pity Count

Pity carries over between banners of the same type but resets when you pull an S-Rank. Keep track to know how close you are.
